
In Texas, to be a district level national delegate you have to go through a series of steps including election at the precinct convention caucus, state senate district convention and state convention. At the last level, I ran against seven great people. Included in those seven was a good friend and it was not fun having to run against him. We even ended up in a runoff together.
While campaigning for the delegate spot, I mentioned to my state delegates that I would set up this blog for them to follow along. Here is a link to an email I sent to the Texas State Convention delegates who elected me:
